One night after spending a closed wing in the first round, the closed wing of the Jets Toke Lsu Mason Taylor in the second round with the general selection No. 42.

Taylor is the son of the member of the Hall of Fame Jason Taylor, who starred in the Dolphins and spent a season with the jets in 2010.
Taylor was a three -year headline in LSU. Established records at the school for career captures with 129 and recurring yards with 1,308.

He had 55 trapped for 546 yards and two touchdowns in 2024.
“Taylor was reliable in LSU’s offensive, and it can be the same for a NFL team,” Dane Brugler wrote of athletics in his prior view of the draft, “due to his good -sized athletics, a reliable Nflive balle block. The field and has some similarities with the Henry hunter.”

The jets had a hole in the wing closed after letting Tyler conlin leave for the chargers in the free agency.
Taylor joins a room that has Jeremy Ruckert and Stone Smartt.
The Jets considered taking the closed wing of Penn State, Tyler Warren, in the first round, but wrote to Missouri Armand Memand Memand.
The Jets offensive needed to add some pass receptors to join Garrett Wilson and help the new field marshal Justin Fields.
