Magic Johnson trashes Lakers after alarming NBA playoff loss

The Lakers dominated at home on Saturday night in game 1 of their Playoffs series of the NBA first round against the Timberwolves, and Magic Johnson is not happy with that.

Johnson tok to social networks to tear the no. The 3 sowed Lakers, the only local team that lost on the opening day of the playoffs that had four games, since 117-95 fell.

“Tonight was one of the Lakers sausages performances this season,” wrote the Lakers’ legend in X Saturday Night. “They were flat, they had no energy, and they played as if it were a regular seasonal game.”

Johnson also pointed to the first year chief coach JJ Redick.

“Coach JJ Redick did a great job throughout the season, but did a good job for game 1,” Johnson wrote. “The Lakers stood on the offensive, played too much basketball one and did not make any necessary adjustment.”

The Timberwolves star, Anthony Edwards, flirted with a triple double, scoring 22 points with nine assists and eight rebounds, while Jaden McDaniels had 25 points in 11 of 13 shots with nine rebounds.

The Lakers, meanwhile, fired 39.8 percent (33 of 83) from the field and 36.6 percent (15 by 41) from the deep.

They led for seven after the first quarter before they were surpassed by 18 points in the second, since they were surpassed by the opposition.

“This Minnesota team will be physical,” said LeBron James, who had 19 points, to journalists. “That is what they bring to the table. We were playing a game … (to understand that. They take the advantage of Homecoourt of us tonight, but we have to control the controllable, and if we do that, we will have a much better chans to win tonight.”

Luka Doncic scored a maximum of 37 points with eight rebounds.

Los Angeles will even look for the series at home on Tuesday night in game 2 before the series changes to Minneapolis for game 3 on Friday.
