The authorities fatally fired a man in Reeda on Sunday night after he allegedly fired a gun in a helicopter from the Los Angeles Police Department.
The deadly shooting begged with a police call around 6:25 PM Abault with a deadly weapon in Block 6400 of Reeda Boulevard, according to the LAPD. Upon arrival, the officers said they saw a man to run into an apartment near the intersection of Reeda and Victory Boulevards.
A LAPD helicopter also responded to the scene and reported that the suspect seemed to shoot his gun in the aircraft. The initial reports indicated that the helicopter was not beaten.
Then, the police chased the suspect in the rear alley of the Apartamentos complex, where a police shooting took place. The paramedics of the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the incident and pronounced the dead man on the scene.
The Department’s Force Investigation Division is investigating the shooting. The suspect’s gun was recovered and will be examined along with physical videos and tests, authorities said.
No officer or civilians were injured during the incident, and there are no pending suspicions, police said.
This is the eleventh person who has hit LAPD’s shots in 2025, according to Police records.
