Juan Soto did not run into many difficult spells in his single season with the Yankees, so we must not tell how the Bronx crowd would have reacted if Soto had a slow start.

But Soto acknowledged that he was caught by the ovation he received on Friday night from the multitude of Citi Field in the fifth entrance, while in the midst of what has been a logical fall, at least for him.

“One hundred percent,” Soto said on Sunday, about whether I was surprised by the reaction. “After the first turn of the bat, I thought:” Why do they get up to cheer? “

When he realized that it was a form of breath, Soto said “he got excited.”

“It’s a great feeling,” Soto said. “When you have a base of admirers that support you when you do it wrong or well, you really appreciate it. I feel they don’t know significant. I feel that each player feels like that. It’s the same generation and drives you crazy.”

After the unexpected ovation that night, Soto scratked a simple score.

In Saturday’s victory, Manager Carlos Mendoza said he saw a better Soto swing than he has seen in other parts of the season, one that is shorter for the ball and allows him to drive the ball to the opposite field. The manager added that Dide Soto “Flying Open”, as he has done at some points this season.

And then on Sunday, while Soto and the Mets complete a sweep of four cardinal games With a 7-4 victory in Citi FieldThe right gardener tied a double of two races to the center of the left that helped seal the game.

The game ended with three ranked races, thanks to the rapid Tyrone Taylor scoring in the Sot’s sacrifice fly on the shallow left in the third and a single through the right side of the box of the painting.

The 26 -year -old does not like the batter that the Mets expected when they gave him a 15 -year agreement and $ 765 million in December, but the team continues to win even without the Pico de Soto.

His impulse towards the gap in the left center of the right Ryan Fernández was a 106 MPH shot that divided the gardeners and showed power of Sotos to all fields.

“We all know what is capable or,” said Brandon Nimmo. “He will do as soon as a firecracker here very soon. It will be fine. The most important thing for him is not to try to do too much. Keep beating doubles to the right garden and singles that will become home runs.”

There is no reason to believe they won, since Soto has nothing that is not consistent in the course of his career.

“There will be ups and downs,” said Soto. “It’s not always going very well in a long season.”

But during the weekend, while the Mets trampled the cardinals, Soto cools to the reason to wait for it to look like soon.

And perhaps an unlikely support of a fan base does not always know it may have helped.
