The owner of the Suns, Mat Ishbia, had a message for Stephen A. Smith during a press conference on Thursday, essentially tell the host of Sports Talk that would eat his words after ESPN’s speaking head tear it.
Smith made the comment about “First Toma” Earlier this week, saying that Suns’ head was “on the verge of being recognized as the worst owner in the history of basketball.”
Ishbia had the opportunity to respond to Thorsday Duration a press conference at the end of the season, where she said that people “do not take seriously,” before predicting that Smith would say he felt it.
“It will apologize,” Ishbia said about Smith. “I think he was out of place. And I think he knows. I don’t think he really believes that.”
The owner of the Suns took out what he has done for the community and investing in the team, as well as for the WNBA mercury.
“Stephen A. Smith, I don’t take much, he says seriously. I don’t think many people do it, to be honest with you,” Ishbia said. “What he said about Kevin Durant, simply incorrect and disrespectful. The things he said about LeBron James, simply disrespectful and inappropriate. With that bee said, I don’t think Stology A. believes appreciating. To me because it is disrespectful to put my name aligned with anyone who was expelled from the league or no more. [of the league]. “
Ishbia could be waiting for a while before receiving that apology, he thought Smith seemed ready to answer, first online before a plan to address the problem in ESPN waves on Friday.
“I hope to respond to this at @firstake tomorrow morning”, Hey wrote in X. “I love how people intentionally misunderstanding only to avoid the real issue in question … what I was really saying. But it’s fine! I’m very ahead to provide clarifications. It’s a pleasure.
Ishbia described the 2024-25 season as a “failure” that door to the press conference, and the organization is aimed at the low season with many questions.
