Dana White defends UFC’s masculine attitude in ’60 Minutes’ interview

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) The CEO Dana White defended the attitude “without” male “apologies of UFC in” 60 minutes “on Sunday night.

The correspondent Jon Wertheim spoke with White about the rise of the UFC, particularly among young men. Wertheim pointed out White’s criticism about the “Wussification” of America and asked if the attitudes had changed. White said he thinks they have done it.

“We are definitely without male apologies,” White said.

“Can this bubble too much?” Wertheim asked. “When you listen to toxic masculinity, what do you do?”

“What does that mean?” White interrupted, laughing. “What is the definition of ‘toxic’? … How can anyone be too masculine? Can you be too masculine?”

After a little round trip, White finally responded.

“No. The answer is hell,” said White.

White also emphasized his support for freedom of expression and the opposition to cancel culture, condemning people who lose work for the controversial online publications.

“I think you are an unpleasant human being if you are celebrating the death of another human being, but people make mistakes and people are going to do silly things,” White said. “I don’t like trying to destroy people’s lives about doing something silly.”

White recently confirmed plans with former President Donald Trump to organize a UFC event at the White House In 2026 for Mark America 250 birthday.

He thought that a Trump supporter, White told Wertheim that he is respectful of all the presidents, regardless of his political party. As an example, he recalled a moment he shared with the duration of former President Barack Obama The second inauguration of Trump.
