Chanel Confirms U.S. Client Data Breach Amid Rising Retail Cyber Threats

The fact that? Chanel Inc. has revealed a violation of US data. UU. Affecting a customer service database, with limited personal data to which an unauthorized external part access.

The details The violation, discovered on July 25 and linked to an external service provider, presented the names, emails, postal addresses and telephone numbers or people who had contacted the Customer Service Center of the United States of Chanel. Chanel confirmed that confidential data, payment information or internal operations were not directly affected, and affected customers were directly notified. The company activated its incident response protocols, committed experts in cyber security and advised customers to remain attentive to Phishing attempts or unplayed communications.

Why? The incident highlights the growing vulnerability of luxury retailers to cyber attacks, since high -end brands manage more and more confidential consumers data on digital and third -party platforms.
