“After consulting with our medical team, medical experts and representatives of Ryan, we all agree that it is the best for Ryan to suspend playball at this time,” said the general manager of the Steelers, Omar Khan, in a statement. “We will continue to help and support Ryan while making the transition to the next phase of his life.”
