The Jets made an offensive line with their first Draft selection for the second consecutive year.
They select Missouri Armand Membou Tackle With the no. 7 General selection Thursday night, a year after Tok Penn State Tackle Olu Fashanu at number 11 in general.
Membou and Fashanu can give tacle of reserve of the jets in the coming years.

Mebou is found as the initial right backle in an offensive line that played quite well at the end of last season.
He was a three -year headline in the right Tackle for Missouri, so there is no projection involved in the position.
“In general, Membou might not have the ideal height (6-4) for a Tackle, but plays a lot with exceptional control and finish skills,” said Dane Bruler of The Athletic in his prior view of the Draft.
“His tools stop me from Troy Facanu of the 2024 Draft class, and all the talent is there to become an initial long -term Tackle of the NFL.”

Mebou is the first option of the regime of the new Jets regime: General Manager Darren Mougey and chief coach Aaron Glenn.
They have Seven Reminal Selections in the Draftincluding one each in the second and third round on Friday.
