This is how the Mets bullpen beat the Philis:
Monday: an escape by Reed Garrett, length of Max Kranick, an exhalation by Edwin Díaz;
Tuesday: Huascar Brasobán, Aj Minder, Ryne Stanek and José Buttó;
Wednesday: solid work of brazobán, left -handed left of Danny Young, a survival of Buttó, A Diaz concern and Kranick Guts.
Eight different reliefs combined to allow a total of four races won, three of which arrived in a Homer Díaz served, and each played a role.
