Mets left in disbelief after botched triple play call ends fourth inning

The Mets came to a triple game on Friday night, even if the referees seemed to have failed the call.

Jesse Winker threw the ball next to the first base at the top of the fourth entrance, and the first view, the first base of the nationals, Nathaniel Lowe, seemed to have made the capture before throwing the ball to the second base for a second and return to the first play.

There was a big problem with the call: the ball had hit the ground.

The repetition showed that Lowe did not catch the ball ball hit the ground and should not be called by the first UMP base Alfonso Márquez.

The work was not revisable, so the METS could not challenge the call, but the captain of the Mets, Carlos Mendoza, went out to argue the ruling with the referee.

Winker, frozen in disbelief on the first base, was caught by cameras that said: “King bounced.”

The triple game ended the top of the fourth with the METS following the nationals.

Jesse Winker was not happy with the failed call.

Amazin’s fate did not improve much: the triple of three Mark winds could not stand as Ryne Stanek, closing instead of Edwin Díaz, cool a couple of races At the bottom of the novena to break the winning streak of the team to seven.
