An Iranian missile crashed into the main hospital in southern Israel on the early Thursday, hurting people and causing “extensive damage,” according to the medical center. The Israeli media issued images of exploited windows and heavy black smoke.

Another missile reached a large building and several other residential buildings in at least two sites near Tel Aviv. The journalists of the French news agency AFP reported having heard “violent and sustained explosions” in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Some 65 people were injured in the hospital and other attacks, two seriously, authorities told  News.Smoke olay of the Soroka hospital in Beersheba in southern Israel after an Iranian missile attack on June 19, 2025.

Haim Bublil, a local police commander, told journalists that several people were slightly injured in the hospital strike. He said there was a fire in a six -story building that was difficult to access, and that rescuers were still looking for varied buildings and moving patients to safer areas in the hospital.

Many hospitals in Israel activated emergency plans last week, turning the underground parking on hospital floors and transferring patients underground, especially those who are in fans or are difficult to move quickly.

Meanwhile, Israel carried out strikes in the ARAK heavy water reactor in Iran, in its last attack on the country’s nuclear sizzling program, on the seventh day of a conflict that with a surprise wave or senior office sites.

The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, condemned the strike in the hospital and promised an answer, saying: “We are going to exactly the total price of the tyrants in TehranThe smoke rises from the Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva, Israel after an Iran missile strike on June 19, 2025.

The events occurred when President Trump was reflecting on the United States, the United States would participate directly in Israel’s efforts to destroy Tehran’s nuclear program.

The hospital asked people not to go there to receive treatment.

Israeli officials said that the hospital part that was hit directly had been evacuated before the strike.

Magen David Adom general, Israel’s emergency rescue service, said: “Last night, the Ministry of Health instructed to further clear the floor that was damaged in Soroka. Many lives were saved.”

Israeli health minister, Uriel Bosso, described the attack “an act of terrorism and a crossing of a red line. A war crime by the Iranian regime was deliberately committed against innocent civilians and medical teams dedicated in advance, to the ministry and the ministry, and the saving lives and the savior lives. Immediate actions that we enchant, a very serious disaster was a very serious disaster.

The hospital has more than 1,000 beds and provides services to the approximately 1 million residents in southern Israel, according to their website.

Iranian state television said that “there was no danger of radiation at all” in the ARAK reactor. A state television journalist, who appeared live in the nearby city of Khondab, said that the installation had evacuated in the legs and that there was no damage to civil areas around the reactor.

Israel had warned earlier on Thursday morning that would take attack on the facilities and urged the public to flee from the area.

The Israeli army said that Thursday’s round of air attacks attacked Tehran and other areas of Iran, without elaborating. He later said that Iran shot a new save or missiles to Israel and told the public to take refuge.

The seventh day of Israel’s air attacks in Iran arrived a day after Iran’s supreme leader rejected the calls of surrender and warned that any military participation by the Americans “would irreparable to the issue.” Israel also raised some restrictions in daily life, suggestion of Iran’s missile threat in its territory was to facilitate.

Already, the Israel campaign has attacked the Uranium enrichment site of Iran in Natanz, centrifuge workshops around Tehran and a nuclear site in Isfahan.

An Iranian human rights group based in Washington said at least 639 people, including 263 civilians, have been killed in Iran and more than 1,300 injured. In retaliation, Iran has fired about 400 missiles and hundreds of drones, killing at least 24 people in Israel and hurting hundreds. Some have reached apartment buildings in the center of Israel, causing strong damage.

Arak’s heavy water reactor is 155 miles southwest of Tehran.

Heavy water helps cool nuclear reactors, but produces plutonium as a byproduct that can be potentially used in nuclear weapons. That would be to provide another path to the bomb beyond the enriched uranium, if you choose to pursue the weapon.

Iran had the 2015 nuclear agreement with the world powers to redesign the installation to relieve proliferation conerns.

In 2019, Iran began the secondary circuit of the heavy water reactor, which at that time did not violate the Tehran nuclear agreement in 2015 with the world powers.

Great Britain at that time was helping Iran to redesign the ARAK reactor to limit the amount of plutonium it produces, intervening for the United States, which had retired from the project after President Trump’s decision in 2018 from taking out the United States unilaterally from the nuclear agreement.

The International Atomic Energy Agency, the United Nations Nuclear Control Agency, has been urging Israel not to attack Iranian nuclear sites. According to the reports, the IEA inspectors visited the last time Arak on May 14.

Due to the restrictions that Iran imposed on the inspectors, the OIEA has said that it has lost the “continuity of knowledge” about the production of Iran’s heavy water, which means that it could not absolutely verify the production and storage of Tehran.

As part of the negotiations around the 2015 agreement, Iran agreed to sell their heavy water to the West to comply with the terms of the agreement. Only the United States buy about 32 tons of heavy water for more than $ 8 million in an agreement. That was a problem that showed criticism of the opponents of the pact.
